Jay Reviews: Radiohead - In Rainbows

Posted by Jay - September 14th, 2012

Well, here's my weekly album review just in time. This time it's "In Rainbows" by Radiohead. As requested by Pwnifyer

This is my first requested review, and hopefully not my last. I really need to start working earlier on these things, I literally listened and wrote the review on this album all in one day. Next time I'll try to get more listening time in so that my writing doesn't seem so rushed. I'd also be glad to hear feedback from you guys, whether it be positive or negative. It's a good way to help me refine my reviews.

As always, leave any recommendations or requests below!

Unpublish war!!

This was a great review. It was extremely well written, made me want to read the whole thing. It didn't seem rushed at all but I agree that it should have been able to sit with you for awhile before you had to review it. Great review brosef.

It may just be that it's not part of my musical tastes. Or maybe I'm just too used to listening to albums from bands that are really eclectic like Ween, or the Beatles. :P

I recommend you review a recommendation you stinky sock.

That's why I'm asking for a recommendation. o_o

Yo, how about "Mr. Bungle" by Mr.Bungle?

I've listened to "Californa" by that band and liked it a lot, so maybe.

"Bu-ikkikaesu" by Maximum the Hormone

I have a link to the album stream.

Haven't heard of that band, but I need to do more bands I've never listened to before, I'll consider it.

I guess I'll recommend something too. Clouds Taste Metallic by The Flaming Lips.

I really want to listen to another Flaming Lips album, so I might do this some time in the future.

It's Japanese nu-metal, I guess. System of a Down is a decent comparison, System of a Down + J-Pop choruses. Like I said, I have a link.

They did songs for the Death Note anime.

Hmm.

You know you want to.

That has yet to be seen. o_o
